You Can Call Me Betty is an mp3 blog started in the Great Blogging Rush of November 2005. Originally intended more like a stream-of-consciousness rant against various musical grievances, it's turned out to have a more positive slant, promoting various musics that just happen to be important or interesting to curator and impresario Oh_Simone. This tends to be along the lines of indie, rock'n'roll and crazy electronica: Four Tet maybe, or Nick Cave, but certainly not limited to these.

Oh_Simone is a somewhat enigmatic figure, i.e. the type that doesn't want his real name bandied around the internet, but you can call him Simon.
