There's Something in the Gold We're Digging is a relatively new music blog, about a 20-something's experience in music, as filtered through the lenses of a father with 8,000 records, a best friend who loved punk from a small town in the southeast via mailorder, long after its heyday, a college friend who majored in exteme metal, and a flirtation with the retail music business.
